Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Olmex, an operating-picture product that ingests your team's work (from tools like GitHub, Slack, Jira, and CRM systems, plus updates, notes, and files your team submits directly) and compiles it into summaries, decision briefs, and answers using AI. By creating an account or using Olmex, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, your organization.

1. The service

Olmex connects to work sources you authorize, stores the resulting data, and uses AI (currently Anthropic's Claude models) to summarize, tag, and answer questions about that data. Nothing Olmex generates is guaranteed accurate — decision briefs and summaries are AI-generated interpretations of your data and should be reviewed, not blindly acted on.

Olmex's output is informational only. It is not business, financial, legal, accounting, or any other form of professional advice, and it must not be treated as the basis for any decision without independent human review. All decisions made using Olmex — and all consequences of those decisions — are yours alone.

2. Your account and data

You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you or your integrations submit, and for keeping your account credentials secure. You retain ownership of your organization's data; we process it only to provide the service.

3. Acceptable use

• Don't use Olmex to process data you don't have the right to share with us.
• Don't attempt to circumvent workspace isolation or access another organization's data.
• Don't use the service to generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.

4. Subscriptions and trials

Olmex is currently offered under pilot/design-partner terms agreed to separately with each customer. Standard self-serve billing terms will be added here once general availability pricing is live.

5. Disclaimers

Olmex is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that AI-generated content is correct, complete, current, or suitable for any purpose, or that the service will be available at any particular time.

Third-party services. Olmex depends on services we do not control (including Anthropic, Supabase, Slack, GitHub, Jira, and email providers). We are not responsible for their availability, performance, security incidents, data handling, or changes to their APIs or terms, nor for any loss arising from them.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) Olmex shall not be liable for any decision made, action taken, or action not taken in reliance on the service or its output; (b) Olmex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages; and (c) Olmex's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to Olmex in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100) if you have paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; in those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the minimum extent the law allows.

7. Your responsibility and indemnification

You are solely responsible for the data you submit or connect, for having the rights to share it, for reviewing AI output before acting on it, and for your organization's compliance with the laws that apply to it. You agree to indemnify and hold Olmex harmless from claims arising out of your data, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement per the terms of your pilot/subscription agreement. On termination, you may request export or deletion of your organization's data — see our Privacy Policy for retention details.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated to workspace admins.
